Most platforms only answer a logged-in session — search, feeds, comments and media all need one. torii holds those sessions for you. You log in once, on a browser that torii controls and streams into the page, and from then on every crawl for that platform runs under that account.

Add an account

Add account → name it → pick the platform

Press Add account. torii suggests a random profile name; keep it or type your own — you can keep several accounts per platform (work, personal) — then click the platform tile.

Log in on the live browser

A browser window opens inside the page — a real browser on torii’s side, streamed to you. Use the platform’s own login: scan the QR with the app, or type a password / SMS code where the platform offers one. You are typing into torii’s browser, not yours.

Wait for ready, then Done

torii watches for the session cookies to appear and runs a “who am I” check. When the status flips to ready, the session is captured; press Done. torii keeps it warm from here — periodic checks that keep the platform from expiring it.
The live view is a remote-controlled browser signed in as you. Do not share the console URL while a login is open, and close the view when you are done.

Which platforms need an account

The picker lists exactly the platforms torii can log into — today TikTok, Douyin, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, Bilibili, Weibo, Truth Social and Rumble. YouTube and a few others work without an account for public content. Platforms torii can publish to (for the Accounts tab in Doxaform) are shown on that tab’s card; a platform without a write path is read-only.

When to log in again

  • A row turns dead or Health stops saying warm ok → Re-login from the row menu. Same flow as adding; the profile name and history are kept.
  • Doxaform’s status strip shows session_expired for a platform → same fix. Doxaform reads the verdict from torii’s Accounts table, so once the row is ready again the next crawl is live.
  • Doxaform shows blocked or rate_limited → not a login problem. The platform challenged or throttled a request; torii backs off automatically. See troubleshooting.

Several accounts per platform

torii spreads a platform’s work across every ready profile it holds and paces each one (a per-account gap that widens when the platform pushes back). More accounts mean more throughput and less risk per account; one account is enough to start.

Removing an account

Row menu → Remove account — torii deletes the profile and its session. Signals that relied on that platform keep their clips but stop crawling until another profile is ready.
